Admission Policy & Procedure (2025–2026)

Lal Singh International School, Hathgam, Fatehpur welcomes applications from Nursery to Class VIII for the academic session 2025–2026. Our admission process ensures fairness, transparency, and equal opportunity for every child.

Rules for Admission

  • Admission applications must be submitted in the prescribed form along with the required documents.
  • The school reserves the right to evaluate the child in one or more subjects where applicable.
  • The school reserves the right to accept or reject any application without assigning reasons. The decision of the school authorities shall be final.
  • 25% of seats in the entry-level class (Nursery) will be reserved for children from economically weaker sections as per the RTE Act, 2009 and State Government norms.
  • Incomplete or incorrect documentation may lead to cancellation of admission.
  • The school follows a strict anti-discrimination policy and does not discriminate based on religion, caste, gender, or socioeconomic background.

Eligibility

Admissions are open from Nursery to Class VIII for the academic session 2025–2026. The minimum age required as on 31st March 2025 is as follows:

Admission Procedure

  • Admission Form and Prospectus can be obtained from the school office upon payment of a non-refundable registration fee.
  • For Grades I and above, a written assessment and parent interaction will be conducted. For Nursery to Grade I, only an informal interaction is required.
  • The date and time of assessment/interaction will be provided during registration.
  • Parents must submit the child’s original Birth Certificate and Immunization Chart for verification.

Documents Required

  • Photocopy of Birth Certificate (with original for verification)
  • Transfer Certificate (if applicable)
  • Two passport-size photographs of the student and parents
  • Copy of Aadhaar Card / Passport (if available)
  • PEN, APAAR ID, and UDISE Number (school assists if not available)
  • Certificate from the Head of previous school (for Grade 3 and above)

Payment of Fees

  • Fees can be paid online or in cash at the school office.
  • Payments are due monthly/quarterly by the 10th of the due month.
  • All dues must be cleared before Mid-Term or Final Exams.
  • Fees once paid are non-refundable.
  • Non-payment for two consecutive months leads to name removal from rolls.
  • Re-admission, if approved, will attract a fresh admission fee.
Withdrawal & Transfer
  • Parents must submit a written withdrawal request one month in advance.
  • Transfer Certificate is issued only after clearing all dues.
  • Students failing twice in the same class must withdraw from the school.
Academic Calendar
  • The academic session runs from April to March.
  • Annual Examinations are held in February/March.
  • Promotion is based on cumulative performance.
  • Summer vacation is in May–June (subject to notice).
Additional Clauses
  • Personal data collected during admission is used only for official purposes.
  • The school encourages open communication and transpare
